Toru on The Trash Can On Wednesday 7th March 2007, Toru Nishimuta appeared on Mike Spenser's radio show The Trash Can (London Resonance 104.4fm). Toru appeared as a special guest alongside PJ (Dirty Water Club), Kamikaze UT and Eric Baconstrip (King Salami and the Cumberland 3 / The Chinese Lungs). | October 2007 NEWS: Take care Masao!!! Sadly original founding band member Masao Nakayama will be leaving The Routes due to a change of job, and relocation to Tokyo in November. Masao was very important in creating The Routes sound, and he will be sorely missed as a friend, and a drummer by both myself and Toru. Without Masao The Routes would NEVER have happened! We would like to say thank you to Masao for his friendship, dedication, and skill. We would like to wish both Masao and his wife Tomoko, best wishes, love, and happiness for the future. Chris and Toru xxx On a happy note we would like to welcome Masaji Hirano as our new drummer. His live debut will be The Nervous Wreck Munsters Void single release party on 22nd December, Decadent Deluxe, Fukuoka. |
